A New Years Treatise

Christmas has just waved goodbye as Santa made his last deliveries before heading to his Boca Raton timeshare. The New Years baby is just now starting to wake up and get ready for its time in the sun. (Fat men with reindeer and babies with sashes - Americans have some weird icons.)

In an effort not to sound too cliched, I am using this as a time to refine myself as a person in a physical, emotion, financial and moral sense. I have to work on the little things that turn into big things that turn into a wasted life.

Look at the "Jewish T-Bill", Bernard Maddoff. He lost $50 billion in years of deception that probably started out as a white lie that turned into a fib that grew into a fish story that ended with the equivalent of the GDP of Hungary evaporating. People are literally killing themselves because of this man's greed and total disdain for the truth.

My dad told me that he may lack in performance but he strives to never lack in integrity. I hope I have the courage to do the same.
